1. Fast Food, Fat Food: This program educates participants about the amount of sugar in different size regular sodas and the amount of fat in different meals from local fast food restaurants. A real eye-opener! Presented by the Jefferson County Health Department. Monday, July 29 at 7 p.m., at the Jefferson County Library-Arnold Branch.Â

3. Laurie's Shoes is hosting a Tax-Free Back to School Shoe Drive on Friday.
