Citizen’s Police Academy Sponsored by the Ballwin Police Department

The Ballwin Police Department will be conducting a Citizen’s Police Academy class on Wednesdays from September 12 – November 28.  There will not be meetings on November 14th or 21st.  The academy will have ten sessions and will meet from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Participants will receive instruction on patrol techniques, traffic enforcement, accident investigation, crime scene processing, and police communications.  The academy is designed to provide interested citizens with a better idea of how their police department operates and the police work within the criminal justice system.

To participate, a person must be at least 18 years old and either a Ballwin resident or work within the city limits.  Those interested can contact Officer Sarah Case or Officer Shaun Doerr at (636) 227-9636 for an application.
