Written by Frank Johnson. <a href="http://www.auditor.mo.gov/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Missouri Auditor Tom Schweich</a> will be returning to the <a href="http://www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Rockwood School District</a> Wednesday to present a follow-up report on his office's audit of the district.Schweich's report, which was released in February, rated the district as "fair" and highlighted several serious issues with the its finances,<a href="https://eureka-wildwood.patch.com/groups/schools/p/rockwood-state-audit-the-findings-revealed" rel="nofollow"> including that it had overpaid Glenn Construction Company by about $1.2 million</a>.The presentation will, in part, address how much progress the school district has made in addressing the problems specified in the audit.In the wake of the audit's release in February, <a href="https://eureka-wildwood.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/rockwood-enacts-plan-to-address-state-audit" rel="nofollow">the district outlined a lengthy, five-step plan</a> to address the issues raised in the findings. Rockwood <a href="http://www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/boardofeducation/audit2012/Pages/ActionSteps.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">has publicly tracked the changes made</a> and action steps taken on the <a href="http://www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/boardofeducation/audit2012/Pages/default.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">school district's website</a>.  The follow-up review was scheduled because of "the number and seriousness" of the findings in the audit, Schweich said. It will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Rockwood School District administrative building, located at 111 E. North Street in Eureka.
