The long anticipated development east of the Ballwin Government Center and Vlasis Park took an important step forward Monday with the approval by the city's Board of Aldermen for a gun range which will be located next to the Wendy's restaurant and the adjacent U-Gas Convenience store under construction. <a href="http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/ballwin-oks-zoning-change-for-shooting-range/article_f9e7647f-8f6d-5c59-8496-698dfb075803.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch</a>, American Arms owner John Henderson hopes to have the range and a relocated retail site, in operation by next spring. The range itself will be located underground. Residents have supported the idea of having a gun range located in the city, citing the money they spend going outside of Ballwin to places like On Target in Valley Park.

The gun range will join the Wendy's Restaurant and U-Gas C-store located on Manchester Road in Ballwin.
