Ballwin Police Have Spots Open In Citizen's Academy
The nine-week session opens Thursday September 5.

The following story was provided by the Ballwin Police department:
The Ballwin Police Department will be conducting a free Citizenβs PoliceΒ Academy class on Thursdays from September 5 β November 7. TheΒ academy will have nine sessions and will meet from 7:00 β 9:00 pm at theΒ Ballwin Police Station in Vlasis Park.
Participants will receive instruction on patrol techniques, trafficΒ enforcement, accident investigation, crime scene processing, and policeΒ communications. The academy is designed to provide interested citizensΒ with a better idea of how their police department operates and the policeΒ work within the criminal justice system.
To participate, a person must be at least 18 years old and either a BallwinΒ
resident or work within the city limits. Those interested can contact OfficerΒ
