The vehicle had apparently flipped several times and landed in Kiefer Creek.

Two people were rescued from a car that had flipped several times into Kiefer Creek near Kiefer Creek Road and Forest Valley Drive, according to an STL Today report.

Michael Thiemann, public information officer for Metro West Fire Protection District, said the incident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Sept. 18. He added the vehicle landed upright in about a foot of water in the creek.

Thiemann told Patch a man and woman were passengers in the vehicle, and the man was still in the car upon Metro West's arrival at the scene. The man was trapped and suffering from trauma and both victims were transported to a hospital.
