Marquette High School Grad Caroline Glaser Eliminated From "The Voice"

The NBC music reality show Wednesday night acknowledged issues with voting systems, which it claimed did not impact the outcome.

Marquette High School graduate Caroline Glaser has earned consistent praise from the coaches on NBC's "The Voice," this season, but it was not enough for her to advance to the final 12 competitors on the program.

Wednesday night's show began with hostΒ Carson Daly began the show by bringing on stage an executive from the company that handles its vote tabulation. For the sake transparency, Daly said NBC wanted to let the audience know that there had been some "inconsistencies" with the text and online voting.Β 

As a result, those votes were essentially tossed out. However, Daly assured the audience that doing so did not alter the outcome.Β

Adam Levine's team was the last to learn which two singers won the public's vote and who would be the judge's pick.Β Judith Hill andΒ Amber Carrington won the fan vote and Levine, with the program's final seconds ticking down, selectedΒ Sarah Simmons.

The program went off the air without Glaser having the chance to react to the news.
