Ballwin and Ellisville were shaken by a magnitude 2.0 earthquake early Tuesday morning that originated near Sikeston, in southeastern Missouri, <a href="http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/last_event/states/states_missouri.php" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the USGS.</a> Some of those who happened to be awake at 3:58 a.m. when it struck, said they felt a little something, but didn't think of earthquake. It would be hard to believe that many people in the area would have been awakened from sleep by a 2.0 magnitude with the epicenter near Sikeston. This month , that changed the course of the Mississippi River. It was a combination of three quakes from December through February, estimated to be in the 7.0 magnitude range.
