Ellisville Educator is Quarterfinalist For First-Ever Music Educator Award
Aron Blanke with the Center for Creative Learning is among the music teachers selected across the country for the award presented by the recording academy and the grammy foundation, according to Grammy.com.

According to Grammy.com,Β Aron Blanke with theΒ Center for Creative Learning inΒ Ellisville is amongΒ 217 music teachers who made the quarterfinalsΒ for the Music Educator Award presented by The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Foundation.
The article states that more than 30,000 nominations were submitted nationwide and Blanke made the cut that includesΒ teachers 195 cities across 45 states.
"The Music Educator Award was established to recognize current educators (kindergarten β college, public and private schools) who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools," the article states.

One person will beΒ selected to be recognizedΒ from 10 finalists, according to Grammy.com.Β The winner will be flown to Los Angeles to accept the award, attend the GRAMMY Awards ceremony and receive a $10,000 honorarium, the article adds.
In addition, the article states thatΒ the nine remaining finalists will receive a $1,000 honorarium and the schools of all 10 finalists will receive matching grants.
