Ellisville Woman Accused of Stealing From Former Employer

Police said the Ellisville woman never returned a key after she was fired and used it to enter a dry cleaning business to steal cash.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department and court documents. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

An Ellisville woman is accused of entering her former workplace and stealing $200 from a dry cleaning business in Manchester.

Kaitlin Sitze, 22, of Woodlawn Terrace Court in Ellisville, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft.

Manchester Police said Sitze never returned a key to Dry Clean Spot, 14332 Manchester Road, after she was fired. She was captured on video entering the store using the key after hours between 5:45 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6 p.m. Oct. 22 and taking $200 from the cash register, police said.

Sitze is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $5,000 bond.
