Fourth of July: What's Opened and Closed Around Ballwin, Ellisville

Updated at noon Tuesday to reflect that Ballwin's City Offices will also be closed Friday, July 5.

As you celebrate the Fourth of July this summer, some Ballwin and Ellisville businesses will close for the holiday.

The following is a list of some of what Patch found to be open and closed Thursday.

City Offices:
Ellisville's offices will be closed Thursday, but open Friday.
Ballwin's offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday.

U.S. Postal Service:
Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered Thursday, but the postal service schedule resumes with offices open and mail delivered on Friday.

The Pointe in Ballwin:

The Pointe at Ballwin Commons will be open 5:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

West County Center:

Open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday. 

Schnucks:
Open regular business hours.

Dierbergs:
Open regular business hours.

Walgreens:
Open regular business hours.

St. Louis County Library:
Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
