FOX2: El Maguey Closed Since Tuesday Because Of Sewage Mess

The restaurant has been ordered by the St. Louis County Health department to sanitize the property after a sewage leak.

The El Maguey restaurant on Manchester Road will be "closed as long as necessary"Β while a sewer leak caught on tape in the eatery's kitchen gets cleaned up.

That's according to a report fromΒ Patch's news partners at FOX2 News, which added that the restaurant had been closed since Tuesday night. The station reported that sewage had been flowing since at least Tuesday morning until a fire department response to a fire alarm led to the St. Louis County Health Department's involvement in the matter.

An employee answering the phone Thursday night told Patch that the restaurant was closed due to what they called "minor flooding".
