Gingham's Homestyle Restaurant, a recent winner of Patch's Readers' Choice award for best biscuits and gravy, has closed in Ellisville. Several Patch readers tweeted and emailed over the weekend, asking what happened to their favorite brunch stop.  After checking in with the manager at the still-running St. Charles location, who asked not to be named in the article, he told Patch the reason for closing was because "There just wasn't enough business out there at that location."  Gingham's in Ellisville closed its doors Oct. 3.
