Meet The New Editor
An "old" Patch face is one you'll see more of around Ballwin and Ellisville.

Up at the top of this page, in the lefthand corner, you've seen a name, a picture and an email address telling you who the editor of Ballwin-Ellisville Patch is. That information changed late last week, so I thought an introduction was in order.Β
Hi, I'm Gregg Palermo.
I launched Creve Coeur Patch as the Local Editor there in 2010 and continue in that role today in addition to my new responsibilities. You may have seen my byline here on Ballwin-Ellisville Patch from time to time, primarily with Patch coverage of politics at the state and federal level.

Before Patch, my journalism career took me to local television markets around the country from Columbia, MO to Fort Myers, FL and Minneapolis, MN, among others, where I had management roles and was deeply involved in investigative reporting. I've lived in either Ballwin or Ellisville since 2008.
I'm very passionate about the role that Patch can play in informing local communities about what's going on around them. What's going on down the street from you, or that new business which just opened up next door may not make front page headlines elsewhere but it is important to us.Β

And then there are stories here that do become front page news elsewhere, like the impeachment of now former Mayor Adam Paul. We'll continue to report on that story just as we have up until now.
My wife and I have walked our dog at Bluebird Park, eaten at Clancy's Pub, and taken in Ballwin Days over the years, so don't be surprised to see me in your neck of the woods, with or without my camera.
