One of the newest businesses in Ballwin, Tide Dry Cleaners, is collaborating with the Cars 4 Heroes organization to give a car away to a local U.S. veteran. The clothes cleaner is the first of the Tide franchise to open in the St. Louis area and opened several weeks ago in the Ballwin Grove shopping center at 14434 Clayton Road. <a href="http://www.cars4christmas.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Cars 4 Heroes</a> is a Missouri nonprofit that provides free transportation to active-duty military families and veterans. According to a statement from the organization, "we give over 300 cars away each year throughout the midwest and are increasing our presence in the St. Louis-area." The giveaway to a military veteran and his sister will be at the Tide Dry Cleaners today at 1 p.m. "This will be a surprise," the statement from the organization said. "There will be a military presence there to honor them and hand them the keys." The honorees serve veterans through a local organization in the St. Louis area.
