Patch Donates $1,000 After Newsletter Charity Drive

You helped us direct donations to five local nonprofits!

Thanks to your input, you've helped us direct $1,000 in donations to five local nonprofits. That's the result of that ran for 30 days starting May 10. We've made the donations of $200 each to the five nonprofits that qualified.

The rules said we'd donate $1 per newsletter signup for every 501(c)3 nonprofit that received at least 25 nominations. Five nonprofits received more than 25 nominations in the campaign:

  • Accessible Play in Florissant.
  • in Ballwin.
  • in Creve Coeur
  • in St. Charles County.
  • with locations around the region.

Patch committed to donating up to $3,000, depending on the number of sign-ups we received. Those five organizations each received more than 25 nominations, but among the 500 sign-ups we received, none got much more than the 25 minimum, so we're increasing the donation to each of the organizations to $200, for a total of $1,000 in charitable donations from Patch.com.
