Profane Username on Blog Directed At Mayor Adam Paul
The profane username has since been removed the blog post at EllisvilleTruth.com. This is only the latest in a string of controversies surrounding Adam Paul and the Ellisville City Council.

An anonymous user posted on the blog EllisvilleTruth.com under the username "adampaulsucksc**k" on June 14,Β according to a KMOX article publishedΒ Friday. The KMOX article says other pages on the blog have reasons for Mayor Adam Paul's impeachment, and support a controversial Walmart development.Β
In the time since the post, titled 'JohnΒ 8:32Β "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free,' was published on the WordPress blog, the username has been taken down. The language usedΒ in the post itself does not contain profanity or vulgar words.Β
Paul recently was reinstated as Ellisville mayor, after beingΒ impeached from his office earlier this year by a 5-1 vote of the sitting council.Β
The impeachment process had begun afterΒ a resident claimed Paul had violated the city charter,Β according to previous Patch reporting.Β ButΒ Paul has stirred a lot of controversy with his statement about the proposedΒ Walmart development project.
Ellisville residents divided on the issue of Paul's impeachment,Β some picketing onΒ Manchester Road in support, and theΒ controversy moved onlineΒ to sites likeΒ EllisvilleTruth.comΒ andΒ SupportMayorPaul.com.
PaulΒ later appealed his removal from office, to a newly elected Ellisville council.Β The councilΒ deadlocked 3-3 on the vote and so Paul was not reinstated.Β
Paul thenΒ brought the issue before a St. Louis County Circuit Court judge, whoΒ reinstated Paul as the Ellisville mayor, while other legal battles continueΒ in the courtrooms.Β
Meanwhile, theΒ Walmart development project progressed further toward completion at the Ellisville'sΒ June 19 meeting.
