Alice Bopp, 88, of Chesterfield Died Sept. 26

Bopp was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Alice Marie (Camden) Bopp, 88, of Chesterfield died Sept. 26 and was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, in Missouri.

A service was Sept. 30 at in Chesterfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald August Bopp.

Bopp was a mother of five, former teacher, a volunteer at Birthright Counseling and worked part-time at Musical Instrument Service Center in Bridgeton.

She was active in , in Chesterfield.

Bopp was born in Armstrong, Iowa and youngest of four children to Mary Ellen Kennedy and Emerson S. Camden. Bopp attended Ottumwa Heights College in Iowa and met her husband there who was in U.S. Navy flight school at the time. He later became a structural engineer and consulted as Bopp & Assoc.

The couple married in Pensacola, FL and later lived in Philiadelphia, then St. Louis.

She is survived by many family members and friends.
