After workers left for the day, we took a peek in through the revolving glass doors of the American Girl store underway at Chesterfield Mall. <a href="https://chesterfield.patch.com/newsletters" rel="nofollow">Sign up for free updates with Chesterfield Patch here</a> A renovation of the former Wapango restaurant into the tony doll store, bistro and activity destination is nearly complete, with an April 21 grand opening. Chesterfield Patch was promised a pre-opening tour, so we'll post those photos when it happens, soon. The company said it will pitch a tent outside the store for the grand opening and fill it with activities for young shoppers.
