Burglar Takes Advantage of Unlocked Front Door to Raid Chesterfield Home
The victim said he was home at the time, but did not hear anything.

A Chesterfield man who left his front door unlocked had cash and jewelry stolen from his home, despite the fact that he was there at the time of the burglary.
Police said they suspect the burglar entered the house in the 1500 block of Candish Lane through the front door since it had been left open and there were no signs of forced entry.
According to the victim, the sneaky thief entered his house sometime between 3 and 5 p.m. April 29. The victim told police he did not hear anything at the time, but later noticed jewelry and cash had been taken.
