One Chesterfield apartment dweller is short some valuable items after a burglary in a complex near Route 141 and Olive Boulevard last week. Police said the thief took a laptop, a guitar case, boxing gloves and plastic bags from a basement storage space on the afternoon of March 5. "Every apartment has its own closet type area that is secured with a lock," said Chesterfield Police Officer Mike Ryffel. "There was no forced entry so it may have been unlocked or someone had a key." The victim was at work at the time of the burglary and not present at the apartment complex, which is located in the 600 block of Broadmoor Drive.
