The following information was provided by the City of Chesterfield.  The City of Chesterfield in partnership with NFL Flag will host the first ever Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Youth Flag Football League at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex this spring. This program is for kids ages 5-12 and leagues will be divided by age and gender. Practices will begin the week of March 10 and games will start the first weekend of April. All games will be played on Saturdays; rainouts will be played on Sundays. Registration will be held from now until February 22. Parental participation is highly encouraged as volunteer coaches are needed. This is a recreational league and our philosophy is that every child plays, regardless of skill, and that all participants have fun and learn the game of football. Emphasis will be made on team play, cooperation, good sportsmanship, courtesy, respect to all players, coaches, officials, coordinators, and parents. To register, please contact the City of Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Department at 636.812.9500 or visit our website at www.chesterfield.mo.us.
