Chesterfield Lions Club 'Got Great Trees'
It's decades of providing trees at Four Seasons corner.
Selling about 800 evergreen trees a year is a decades-long tradition for the Lions Club in Chesterfield, dating to the 1960s.
Tree sellers said they had sold about half their stock after the first week of December.
This past weekend was a big one for sales, as families decided not to wait much longer to perform the annual ritual.

The hub for Christmas tree sales is located near the intersection of Woods Mill (141) and Olive Boulevard, in the parking lot between Dierbergs and the bowling alley.
The group has moved up and down the lengthy strip of parking lots along Olive, as store owners complained the trees blocked the view of their stores to potential shoppers.
