A cursory look over the Chesterfield Mall Saturday showed a jammed parking lot, indicating the holiday shopping must be in full swing. The majority of shoppers carried numerous shopping bags full of items. Santa's spot at the mall was open for business, and hummed along with Christmas carols in the air.
