Homebuilder Unveils New Subdivision On Wildhorse Creek Road

Arbors in Chesterfield shows seven proposed house designs,

A new 23-acre cul-de-sac subdivision on Wildhorse Creek Road, just west of Long Road, is one step closer to construction, with its latest approvals from the City of Chesterfield.

"This one went exactly the way it's supposed to," Mayor Bruce Geiger said about Arbors at Wildhorse Creek. "They don't all go this way."

Developers met with surrounding residents in conjunction with planning, he said.Β McBride & Sons is headquartered in Chesterfield on Olive at Swingley.

Developers were thorough in the application process during public meetings.Β 

The new subdivision will preserve some of the wooded areas and steep gradients, and eventually add more landscaping as buffers.Β

The 23 acres will have 22 lots of single family housesβ€”made of brick, stone, plank siding and shingle, according to city documents. Lots would be no smaller than 24,000 square feet.

No word yet on pricing, but officials indicated it would be consistent with the going rates.Β
