Did You See This Survey, Baby Boomers in Chesterfield?
Year-end task slips past, but we can still discuss it.

The City of Chesterfield called for a survey of "Baby Boomers" (55 plus) due by Dec. 20, and for some, it was lost in the year-end shuffle, or holidays.
Apparently, 53 percent of Chesterfield residents are 45 and older, and 46 percent are 55 and older.
So the survey asks questions that the city said the responses would be used to determine policy and future programs.

There doesn't seem to be a survey question that asks whether we residents want shuffleboard courts in our newest park, Eberwein (the dog park.) However, last month the city council decided to move ahead with spending up to $10,000 on putting shuffleboard in the park.

Are there really Boomers who came of age on rock and roll, 1960s protests, Vietnam, assassinations of public figures, hippies, women's liberation, civil rights, Kent State University killings and other watershed moments of the eraβdo they want to play shuffleboard now in their golden years?
