Everything looks good for Wednesday's ribbon cutting ceremony at Eberwein Park—Chesterfield's newest park. The park then opens Thursday to the public. The park has an historic barn on it, in addition to a fenced dog run which can be seen from behind Dierbergs. It costs $30 a year to join, but only $10 this year (Sept. - Dec.) Residents only may buy a member tag Sept. 1-2 at the park, and otherwise at City Hall. <a href="https://patch.com/A-ljNc" rel="nofollow">See what documents you need to bring for tag purchase.</a> Two houses were torn down to create the park. One was a clapboard white farm house, the other was a mid-century brick ranch. Adjacent to the park is a handful of newer $1 million houses on very small parcels. City officials said more planting would be done in the park when weather turned cooler.
