Police: Father Turns in Son Who Held Up BP Station at Gunpoint

The teenager was taken to a family court for where he awaits a hearing.

An unidentified 15-year-old used a gun to hold up a gas station in Chesterfield last Sunday. He was turned in to police by his father, according to a Chesterfield police report.

The incident occurred at the at the intersection of Long Road and Chesterfield Airport Road, police said.

Police Officer Michael Ryffel said he could not release any further information because the suspect was a juvenile, but said more information may be available Thursday.
