Gov. Nixon in Chesterfield Awards $500K to Three-Time Startup Business Owner
Owner says he started one business in his garage, raising capital of $6 million—and $4 million on another business.

A Chesterfield man who started a business in his garage with $6 million in capital and created 400 jobs in Missouri, won $500,000 from the state in a low-interest loan to grow his latest business.
Gregg Scheller started his third venture, Katalyst Surgical, and got recognition for the business from Gov. Jay Nixon Thursday, in Chesterfield. So far, he employs 15 people, Scheller said.
Scheller seemed to have a good track record, saying he started his first business in an office building in Chesterfield, and raised $4 million in capital for that.

Scheller said he sold the first company. The second startup is thriving as a publicly-traded company in O'Fallon, MO.
