The presents were already wrapped and included more than $500 worth of toys.

A thief soured the holidays for one shopper last week when he stole wrapped Christmas gifts from the individual's vehicle.Β

The incident occurred late at night on Nov. 24 when an unknown suspect damaged a door lock and broke out the window of a vehicle parked near the Chesterfield Mall in the 300 block of E. Chesterfield Center, according to a report in the Chesterfield Police blotter.Β

The Santa-Claus-in-reverse then entered the vehicle and grapped the presents, which had already been wrapped and were valued at more than $500. Chesterfield Police have no suspects at this time.Β
