Chesterfield Patch tweeted the basics from the 2011 World Series celebration Sunday after the parade from Union Station ended at Busch Stadium.

Players, owners and others spoke from a red stage at 2nd base on the field to a sellout crowd @ChesterfldPatch:

• Clydesdales just did their lap around Busch Stadium. Cardinal Nation in love!
• Charlie Dooley takes the podium with Freese!
• Dooley gives MVP Freese the key to St. Louis County
• St. Louis Mayor Slay gives MVP Freese a key to the city!
• Freese is a St. Louis native ('burb Wildwood) went to high school at Lafayette!

• Cardinals Manager Tony La Russa: Tony jokes that Freese gave him the key to the Corvette before the celebration.
• Tony La Russa talks Clydesdales, Cardinals on the bat, Rally Squirrel and Tortie the turtle?
• Cardinals fans boo when La Russa mentions a loss to the Cubs
• Pitcher Jake Westbrooke said he would sit out the games if Tony asked him, in order to win the series.
• Dewitt III said there was a citing of Rally Squirrel today, during the celebration. They will add another spot at the stadium for 2011 flag
