How Historic is Your Neighborhood?
The Chesterfield Historic and Landmarks Preservation Committee wants to encourage students of all ages to research what used to be in their backyards.

There's plenty of history hidden in Chesterfield, if you just know were to look and the right questions to ask.
A program from the Chesterfield Historic and Landmarks Preservation Committee (CHLPC) is hoping to help students discover if there was an Indian village, an old farmhouse or a cornfield where their backyards used to be.
The committee is encouraging students of all ages to research their subdivisions and submit their findings. All participants will be awarded a certificate and recognized at a City Council meeting.
