TV's "Mad Money" host said he would buy stocks.

Imagining what life would be like if you held one of the lucky tickets for the $640 million lottery?

CNBC asked former hedge fund manager Jim Cramerβ€”the ranting host of cable'sΒ Mad MoneyΒ and co-founder of TheStreet.comβ€”what he would do with the money if he won the jackpot.

He said he would spend it on stocks, according to CNBC producer Michelle Fox.

Here's what Cramer imagined, if he won.

These are his "safe plays," bought in equal parts, Fox said.

  • gold bullion,Β 
  • Abbott Laboratories
  • Kraft

However, Cramer said he would also buy two speculative names in stock:Β 

  • Magnum Hunter Β 
  • Heckman.

Cramer became more widely-known in August 2007 for his infamous rant calling the Federal Reserve "know-nothing Feds" and urging its chairman Ben Bernanke to lower the lending interest rate.
