Updated: Jacob, Mogerman, Major Keep Spots on Parkway Board

The three incumbents will serve another three-year term.

Voters decided Tuesday that incumbent Parkway School Board members Chris Jacob, Dee Mogerman and Bruce Major should keep their positions. Voters could select three of four candidates to vote for in the Parkway School Board election.

received the most votes, with 8,237 votes, or 26.10 percent. garnered 8,162 votes, or 25.86 percent. slipped in with 7,994 votes, or 25.33 percent of the votes.

Jacob has served on the board since 2008. Jacob previously told PatchΒ everything about Project Parkwayβ€”the district's multi-year strategic planning effortβ€”calls for the district to "raise the bar" and do better.Β Jacob spoke withΒ Maryland HeightsΒ PatchΒ about his upcoming three-year term. He said the board will work hard to implement Project Parkway over the next term. He also looks forward to working with the new superintendent, Keith Marty.

MogermanΒ has served on the board since June 2004. She previously toldΒ PatchΒ sheΒ wants to see the district's multi-year strategic planning effort, Project Parkway, to fruition.

MajorΒ is the current board president and has been a board member since 2008. Major previously toldΒ PatchΒ he hopes to work with the incoming superintendent, Keith Marty, to implement Project Parkway.Β

Jacob said the school board secretary will swear him in for his next three-year term on April 13.

Adair told Maryland Heights PatchΒ on WednesdayΒ that defeat hasn’t deterred her from staying active in the district.

She said she hopes the Parkway school board will continue their progress on Project Parkway. Adair said she would also like to see the board come up with a continuous improvement plan.

As for what’s next for Adair, she said she wants to contribute in different ways. Adair saidΒ she hopes to volunteer in the district. She said plans to speak with Don Senti, Parkway’s interim superintendent, about where her skills will best serve Parkway.
