More Shops, Restaurants to Surround Chesterfield Outlet Mall
St. Louis Premium Outlets, located south of the Daniel Boone Bridge in Chesterfield Valley, are just one part of a larger development.

When St. Louis Premium Outlets finally opens in August, it wonβt be the end for major commercial development in the Chesterfield Valley.
Thatβs because St. Louis Premium Outlets has long been just one part of a larger development, Chesterfield Blue Valley. The land is owned by developer Dean Wolfe, who sold 50 acres to Simon Property Group for the outlet mall and held on to the remaining 100 acres that surrounds it.
City records indicate that Wolfe starting combining plots in the area just south of the Daniel Boone Bridge in 2008, but he is now beginning to move forward on plans to develop it, according to KSDK.

Wolfe added that he doesnβt believe this grand vision for a commercial mecca is over-developing, instead saying that it will be βunique and different.β Β

According to the St. Louis Business Journals, the outlet mall is a $100 million project while Chesterfield Blue Valley will cost even more at around $250 million.
Of course, the biggest competition for the St. Louis Premium Outlets may not be the business at its doorstep, but its rival outlet mall on the other side of the Valley. Taubman Prestige Outlets is a slightly larger development and both outlet malls are currently set to open in August.Β
