• Downtown Chesterfield enters second phase of development (westnewsmagazine.com) — Utility work and site grading are now underway for the massive Downtown Chesterfield redevelopment on the former mall site, marking the project’s second phase. Crews are preparing new roads and a 3.31-acre central park, with vertical construction expected to start in summer 2027. Expect ongoing construction activity as this mixed-use district gradually takes shape.
