Police Blotter: Break-Ins Hit Vehicles on Edison, Long Roads

May 1

Larceny, Edison Avenue and Long Road – An unknown subject entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a purse containing cash and credit cards.

Larceny, Edison Avenue and Long Road – An unknown subject damaged the car door on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse containing cash and credit cards.

Shoplifting, 200 Chesterfield Mall – A 16-year-old female concealed clothing and left a store without paying.

Property damage, 1000 Cambridge Way Dr. – A 52-year-old female damaged the victim’s car with a sharp object.

Shoplifting, 40 Chesterfield Mall – A 25-year-old female concealed clothing and cosmetics and left a store without paying. She was also found in possession of stolen property from another store.

Larceny, Edison Avenue and Long Road – An unknown subject damaged the car door on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse containing cash and credit cards.

May 2

Fraud, 16000 Bent Tree Dr. – An unknown subject attempted to use the victim’s social security number in another state.

Larceny (more than $500), 600 S. Goddard Ave. – An unknown subject took copper irrigation pipe from a business.

Drug possession, 16000 Swingley Ridge Rd. – A 19-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after a suspicious person investigation.

May 4

Assault, 1200 White Rd. – A 29-year-old male struck his ex-girlfriend in the head, causing minor injuries, after an argument over a cancelled trip and money.

Assault, 15000 Ardmore Creek Dr. – A 44-year-old female slapped the victim in the face after an argument over an apartment. No injuries were reported.

Runaway juvenile, 1900 Dovershire Ct. – A 14-year-old male ran away from his home but returned later
