Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Trying to Sell Stolen Golf Clubs

July 24
Larceny (over $500), 800 W. Chesterfield Pkwy. – A 37-year-old male checked out of a hotel before paying his final balance.
Unattended animal, S. Outer 40 Rd. and W. Chesterfield Pkwy. – A 56-year-old male left a dog in a vehicle unattended.

Possession of stolen property, 1600 Clarkson Rd. – A 30-year-old male attempted to sell stolen golf clubs to a business. He was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia and stolen license plates. Chesterfield police detectives are investigating to see if this is connected to a string of thefts of golf clubs from local businesses.
July 25
Larceny, 14000 Olive Blvd. – An unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle by forcing the door handle and took a purse containing a wallet and medication.

Larceny, 300 THF Blvd. – A 30-year-old female took cash from her employer.
Harassment, 1600 Clarkson Rd. – An unknown subject continues to call business looking for former employee.
Larceny, 14000 Greencastle Dr. – License plate reported stolen.
Property damage, 100 Four Seasons Shopping Ctr. – An unknown subject broke out the rear window of a vehicle.
Larceny (over $500), 13000 Olive Blvd. – An unknown subject broke out the window on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse containing a cell phone, cash, a check book and sunglasses.
Shoplifting, 100 Chesterfield Mall – An unknown subject took polo shirts and walked out of a store without paying.
Larceny, 900 Westmeade Dr. – An unknown subject entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a dash camera.
July 26
Larceny (over $500), 14000 Clayton Rd. – An unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle and took a purse containing an MP3 player, headphones, a checkbook and credit cards.
Larceny, McBride and Son Center Dr. – A 35-year-old male took a decorative beer tower from inside the Brickhouse restaurant.
Gas drive off, 15000 Olive Blvd. – An unknown subject pumped gasoline and drove off without paying.
Burglary, 300 Brunhaven Ct. – An unknown subject attempted to break into the victim’s residence by prying on a rear screen window. Nothing was reported stolen from the home.
