Police Blotter: Sensitive Files Stolen from Chesterfield Business

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. All addresses given are generic.Β 

Editor's note: There were an unusually high number of fraud cases reported this week, which police suspect may be the result of a cyber attack at Schnucks. At this point, however, police said their investigation is still ongoing, but it is hard to say exactly how many be related.

March 27

Larceny, 1400 Ladue Rd. – An unknown subject entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a car stereo.

Larceny, 16000 Barrister Ln. – A citizen reported their license plate was stolen.

Drug paraphernalia, Burkhardt Pl. and W. Chesterfield Pkwy. – A 23-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana paraphernalia after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Assault, 13000 Riverway Dr. – A 28-year-old female struck her boyfriend in the face after an argument, causing minor injuries.

March 28

Fraud, 600 Highland Park Dr. - An unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.

Shoplifting, 100 Chesterfield Valley Dr. – An unknown subject attempted to take a bracelet a store without paying.

Fraud, 800 Coalport Dr. - An unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.

Fraud, 300 Madewood Ln. - An unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.

Burglary, 600 Trade Center Blvd. – A 43-year-old male entered a former business and took sensitive business files.

Property damage, 100 Hilltown Village Ctr. – An unknown subject keyed the victim’s vehicle while it was in a parking lot.

March 29

Assault, 2000 Cannon Heights Dr. – A 16-year-old male pushed and bit his girlfriend after an argument, causing minor injuries. After police arrived, the subject resisted arrest and was transported to a hospital for psychological evaluation.

DWI, Boones Crossing and Highway 40 – A 55-year-old male was arrested for his third DWI offense.

Fraud, 15000 Easy Ridge Ct. - An unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.

Drug possession, Olive Blvd. and Chesterfield Pkwy. – A 26-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Larceny, 14000 Appalachian Trail – An unknown subject took political signs from the victim’s front yard.

Curfew violation, Olive Blvd. and Highway 40 – A 15-year-old male was out after curfew after being in a car that had been stopped for a traffic violation.Β 

March 30

Property damage, 17000 Horse Creek Ct. – An unknown subject damaged the victim’s utility box.

Drug possession, 1200 Creve Coeur Crossing Ln. – A 16-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped on a suspicious person check.Β
