Police Blotter: Vandals Tearing Up Athletic Fields at Chesterfield Complex

March 6

Larceny, 3XX N Woods Mill Rd. – An unknown subject took license plate tabs off of a vehicle.

Shoplifting, 1XX THF Blvd. – Two 20-year-old males concealed headphones and left a store without paying.

Assault, 7XX N. Woods Mill Rd. – A 51-year-old female with bipolar disorder was intoxicated and struck her mother in the face. There were no injuries and the suspect was transported to the hospital for evaluation with referral to a mental health court.

March 7

Larceny (over $500), 3XX N. Woods Mill Rd. – An unknown subject took a wallet containing cash from the victim’s backpack.

Shoplifting (over $500), 2XX THF Blvd. – An unknown subject took tools and walked out of a store without paying.

March 8

Property damage, 17XXX N. Outer 40 Rd. – An unknown subject damaged a football field at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex by driving through it with a vehicle.Β  A similar incident occurred last week and police said they have stepped up patrols in the area in response but have no suspects yet.

Larceny, 5XX White Rd. – An unknown subject took a wallet out of the victim’s purse while she was working. Β 

March 9

Runaway juvenile, 21XX Courtleigh Ln. – A 12-year-old male ran away from home after an argument with parents. Later found by police officer and transported to a hospital for an evaluation, per request of the family.

March 10

Burglary, 4X Pacland Estates Dr. – Sometime between March 10 and March 11, an unknown subject broke out a basement window of the residence but did not make entry.

Larceny, 3XX THF Blvd. – An unknown subject damaged the door handle on the victim’s vehicle and took a backpack, books, voice recorder and flash drives.

Property damage, 1XX THF Blvd. – An unknown subject damaged the door handle on the victim’s vehicle but did not take anything.

Larceny, 16XXX Burkhardt Pl. – An unknown subject damaged door handle on the victim’s vehicle and took a firearm.
