Sandwich Lovers Rejoice: Which Wich Opening Chesterfield Store
The owner says she is hoping to have it up and running by early June.

Ever wish that you had more sandwich shops from which to choose? Which Wich will be opening its first St. Louis location in Chesterfield in early June.
Signs proclaiming the arrival of the national sandwich chain were recently posted in the windows of an empty storefront between BalabanβsΒ and Noodles & Co.Β in the Dierbergs Marketplace shopping center at the corner of Clarkson and Baxter roads.
The locationβs owner, Jeanne Town, is a native of the West County area who is moving back to St. Louis after being away for 23 years. Towne told Patch via email that she is currently preparing to open the store by working at Which Wichβs corporate headquarters in Texas.

βI am so excited to bring Which Wich Superior Sandwichs to the St. Louis marketplace, and I personally am thrilled to be back in St. Louis,β she said. βIt has always been home to me.β
The restaurant specializes in letting customers order highly customizable versions of the lunchtime favorite through an ordering system that involves marking up a pre-printed menu on a sandwich bag. The sandwich is then prepared according to your specifications and delivered to you in the same bag.

The Chesterfield store is coming as the company is experiencing a year of rapid growth. A report publish Friday by QSR Magazine said there are 224 Which Wich stores in the U.S. with more than 100 openings scheduled for 2013.
The chainβs first store opened in Dallas in 2003 and was founded by Jeff Sinelli, who also started another brand known to St. Louis area diners, Genghis Grill. Β
