A recent push by the Monarch Fire Protection District in conjunction with the Chesterfield Home Depot to install new smoke detectors is earning the thanks of some residents.
The Windsor Park Board of Directors issued a formal thank-you to the district for their time and guidance in helping put in dozens of the alarms on March 23 and presented the district with a plaque in recognition of their efforts.
βThe combined team was able to install some in 37 homes in our community with an assortment of smoke and carbon monoxide alarm units,β the subdivision board said in a statement. βThe positive response from residents has been overwhelming.β
