Damage from a spring storm to the roof at Shenandoah Valley Elementary in early April is forcing the district to relocate the summer school classes originally scheduled to be held in the building. In a news release, Parkway stated that the move is due to final repairs from the storm damage and said the classes will be moved to River Bend Elementary, 224 River Valley Drive in Chesterfield. Summer school dates and times remain the same--June 3 to 21, from 8 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.  Students who had previously registered for summer school classes at Shenandoah Valley are still enrolled in the same classes now planned for River Bend. There will be transportation for students from Highcroft Ridge, Green Trails and Shenandoah Valley elementary schools to and from River Bend.
