Police are investigating a case of theft from a home in Chesterfield that resulted in the loss of more than $500 of carpentry tools. The exact timing of the theft is unknown, occurring sometime between July 1 and Dec. 21, and took place at a home in the 1000 block of Cambridge Way drive.
