Trailers that are left unsecured are often a tempting target for thieves and such was the case for a lawn care business in Chesterfield Valley last week. Police said that a worker at the business arrived on the morning of March 17 to find a utility trailer gone and along with it, a pile of scrap metal, likely hauled away with the aid of the stolen trailer.   "We believe someone just hooked it up to a vehicle and drove," said Chesterfield Police Officer Mike Ryffel. The profit of the crime comes from the high re-sale value of the scrap metal.
