Just received this update from the city of Chesterfield:
"In accordance with the City of Chesterfield's operations plans, we have discontinued the Valley Watch.
As of this afternoon, the St. Charles Missouri River gauge had dropped to a reading of 29.2. Once the river levels dropped below 30 at St. Charles, and are continuing to fall, the City discontinues the formal Valley Watch.
Of course, the Department of Public Services will continue to watch and monitor river conditions, continue a dialogue with the Levee District and Corps of Engineers as necessary. But the official notices and required monitoring has been discontinued for this river event."
