Clayton residents interested in running for city office in April will have the opportunity to start the process beginning at 8 a.m. Dec. 13 at .
Three seats—one each for Ward 1, Ward 2 and Ward 3 representative on the Clayton Board of Aldermen—will be open for the April 3 election. Those interested in running for office must be at least 25, be registered to vote and be at least a two-year resident of the city as of Election Day.
Those elected as aldermen will serve three-year terms.
The filing period ends at 5 p.m. Jan. 24.
