Dr. Jacqueline Kraus Named Medical Director of St. Mary's Stroke Program

Dr. Jacqueline Kraus, a neurologist, has been named medical director of the stroke program at in . The hospital made the announcement Feb. 8 in a news release.

Her interest include treating people with neuro-endovascular diseases such as strokes, brain aneurysms, brain and facial arteriovenous malformation, and headaches.

She holds both a medical degree and a doctorate in anatomy and cell biology from The University of Iowa. Kraus completed a fellowship in neuro-critical care and neuro-trauma at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Michigan.

She has previously worked in the neurology department at Wayne State and as medical director of the neurosciences intensive care unit at Providence Hospital in Michigan.

In Richmond Heights, Kraus joins neurologists Sherif AL-Hawarey and Bingzhong Chen, and neurosurgeon Gregory Bailey.
