Michael "Mike" Chivell, a managing partner of Clayton-based , has been named a 2012 Law Firm Leader, the company announced last week. Missouri Lawyers Weekly administers the award.
Chivell has been managing partner since 2007. He leads the law firm's six offices, which comprise more than 500 people.
He oversaw the firm's move to the Centene Plaza building in downtown Clayton; has worked to grow the firm's client base and retain lawyers and staff; and has contributed to the firm's financial success, the release states.
Chivell holds a bachelor's from Illinois Wesleyan University and a law degree with distinction from The University of Iowa College of Law.
