Former student John H. "Jack" Gorman Jr. died May 7 at age 87, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
Mr. Gorman graduated from Washington University with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering, worked at for more than three decades and later sold real estate with his wife, Peg.
